"Wait, where's the table?"

We had a table that we purchased second hand. twas cute but the x shaped stability planks by the floor got annoying. Very.
We were fortunate to find a large extendable table and four chairs for free on the internet. What to do with the old one but take it apart and await the arrival of reuse possibilities.
One of the hundred projects that were stuck in my head was to make a house name and number wall plaque for my husband. That was for last Christmas. I know. I know.
Long story short, one plank from the table....perfect for a wall plaque...

With this project, i used:
a wood burning tool
strong plank of solid wood
tracing paper
printout of a font
pencil (lead)
pencil (graphite)
steel numbers
sandpaper
a bit of sticky tape
a steady hand

Next thing i did with the table. electric toothbrush holder, because manual toothbrush holders, while some what vintage, just wont cut it! And a pot won't work!
still getting the hang of the wood burning tool though!
